Product questions
Do I need both plugins?
You can buy either separately. Choose ClipperForge for individual channels and busses, and ClipperForgeHD for mastering. The bundle gives you both plugins.
Does ClipperForge limit true peaks?
ClipperForge caps sample peaks on its normal processed path; that does not guarantee a true-peak ceiling. ClipperForgeHD adds a separate final true-peak limiter that you can enable.
Does Bass Focus keep the bass clean?
It adds low-frequency emphasis before full-band clipping. To drive the lows less than the rest of the signal, use multiband and reduce Low Drive.
Should I always use 32× oversampling?
Higher rates can reduce aliasing but use more CPU. Choose a rate that suits your session and compare the result by listening.
