PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 13 September 2026.

Who we are

ERB N DUB is operated by Peter Chapman, a sole trader trading as Erb N Dub Entertainments. This notice explains how we use personal information when you visit erbndub.com, buy digital products, access downloads or contact us.

Business contact address: Werks Central, 15–17 Middle Street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 1AL, United Kingdom.
Email: erbndub@erbndub.com.

Information we use

When you buy a product or use an account, we process your name, email address, account details, order and payment references, and download records. Previous purchases may also contain billing details supplied at the time. Payment providers may request further information for payment processing, identity checks or fraud prevention. We do not receive your full card number or card security code through our normal checkout.

We receive the information you send in enquiries and support requests. Our website, hosting and security services also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request logs and security events. If you subscribe to marketing, we use your contact details and subscription preferences.

How and why we use it

  • Purchases, accounts and downloads: to perform our contract with you, deliver products and provide related support. We need the checkout information to fulfil your purchase.
  • Enquiries and bookings: to take steps you request before a contract, or for our legitimate interest in responding to other enquiries.
  • Accounting and legal records: to meet legal obligations.
  • Security, fraud prevention and disputes: for our legitimate interest in protecting the website, our customers and the business, and to meet legal obligations where applicable.
  • Optional email subscriptions: with your consent. Joining the mailing list is not a condition of buying a product.
  • Optional analytics and advertising measurement: with the choices you make in Cookie settings, including consent where required.

Services that receive information

The shop uses WordPress and WooCommerce and is hosted by Krystal. Our hosting, email and security providers process information needed to operate and protect the website. Payment information is shared with the payment provider selected at checkout, including Stripe or PayPal. They also process information for their own payment, fraud-prevention and legal purposes under their privacy notices.

Mailchimp supports our mailing list and connected shop marketing. Depending on the connected features, it can process contact details, subscription preferences and shop activity. Marketing choices are separate from necessary purchase communications. Professional advisers and public authorities may receive information when required for accounting, legal advice or a lawful request.

Cookies, analytics and embedded media

Necessary cookies support features such as the basket, sign-in, security and remembering cookie choices. The cookie panel contains separate controls for optional services. You can reopen it through Cookie settings in the footer.

Analytics and Marketing are separate optional choices. Google Analytics uses online identifiers, device details and website or shop events to measure usage. Meta tools use browsing and purchase events to measure advertising and link activity with Facebook and Instagram campaigns. Where matching features are enabled, Meta may also receive hashed contact details, such as an email address, to match events. Hashing does not make this information anonymous. You can decline either category and still use the shop, or withdraw your consent through Cookie settings. Read more in Google’s Privacy Policy and Meta’s Privacy Policy.

Music and video players are provided by third parties, including YouTube and SoundCloud. Loading a player can share your IP address, device information and the page you visit with that provider. Links to external music and social websites are governed by those services’ own privacy notices.

International processing

Some providers process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their published terms describe the transfer safeguards they use, such as recognised adequacy arrangements and approved contractual clauses with UK provisions. Details are available in Mailchimp’s data processing terms, Stripe’s Privacy Centre and PayPal’s privacy notice. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

How long information is kept

Account, order and download records are kept while needed to provide access to purchases and related support. We also retain records needed for accounting obligations, refunds, disputes or legal claims. The appropriate period depends on the type of record, the ongoing customer relationship, legal requirements and any unresolved issue. The shop does not currently apply an automatic expiry to customer accounts or completed orders.

Marketing information is used while you remain subscribed. After an unsubscribe request, a limited suppression record may be retained to respect that choice. Unsubscribing does not remove purchase records or stop necessary order and support messages. Enquiry and security records are retained according to their purpose and any continuing investigation or legal need.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing using the link in our emails or by contacting us. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your personal information. These rights depend on the circumstances, and some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or claims.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to the use of your information for direct marketing. Email erbndub@erbndub.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing personal information.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk. You are also welcome to contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.

Updates

We may update this notice when our services or practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
