Sine-wave bass foundation
A simple fundamental gives you the starting point for a deep sub or the foundation of a more complex bass.
ERB N DUB / Bass & sub-bass synth
Build bass from the fundamental up. Add harmonics for definition, shape the character with saturation, then bring it to life with expressive pitch and movement.

BUILD FROM THE FUNDAMENTAL
A simple fundamental gives you the starting point for a deep sub or the foundation of a more complex bass.
Choose 1–16 harmonic components. Use Slope and Odd / Even to control brightness, body and the balance of the upper harmonics.
Blend in saturation, shape the tone and adjust each note’s envelope—from a restrained sub to a driven, textured bass.
BUILT-IN EFFECTS RACK
Keep shaping inside HARMONIX. Add, reorder and duplicate effects to create your own chain, from subtle tone control to a complete transformation.
PITCH / PERFORMANCE / MODULATION
Draw effects modulation, slide between notes or create a pitch dive. Shape how the bass moves as well as how it sounds.
Four drawable LFOs control supported effects parameters. Sync to tempo, retrigger with notes or play a shape once.
Use the drawable pitch envelope for dives and rises. Add glide and legato for expressive mono bass lines.
Choose Mono or Poly, set the attack and release, and use pitch bend to put expression into the phrase.
GOOD TO KNOW
The main oscillator adds sine components at harmonic intervals. You control their number, level slope and odd/even balance, then shape the result with saturation and effects.
Yes. Start with one harmonic, Octave Up at zero and Sat Mix at zero. Leave the effects chain empty and keep enough headroom to avoid master clipping.
Yes. Poly mode plays multiple notes. Mono, legato and portamento are available for single-note bass lines and slides.
Yes. Save your settings as a user preset, including the effects chain and modulation, and recall them in another session.
